Call for Entry:
On behalf of the Department of Art at Oregon State University, you are invited to participate in the annual Cascade Print Exchange. This exchange is open to all participants, 18 years and older, and will be comprised of artists/printmakers from the United States and abroad.
There is no entry fee in lieu of the donation of two prints from the exchange to the Printmaking Program in the Department of Art at Oregon State University.

Deadline Date:
Prints and related materials must be received by January 31st of the participating year. This date is not the postmark date. Late submissions cannot be accepted. Early submissions are encouraged.
Requirements:
An edition of 15 identical hand-pulled, original prints should be created for this exchange. Please insert interleaving or glassine cover sheets between each print, cut to match paper size.
Media: Intaglio, Relief, Lithography, Serigraph, or any combination of these.
Paper size: 5 inches by 7 inches. Paper must be archival.
Print/image size: open.
Each print must be signed and numbered on the front.
The following information should be included on the back of each print:
- Artist name (required)
- Title (required)
- Year (required)
- Media (required)
- Contact information: e-mail address and/or physical address (optional)
In addition to your 15 prints the following must be included with your submission:

- SASE: 9 x 12 inch (or larger) envelope
- US entries: include $8.00 postage and self addressed envelope
- International entries: no postage required
- One page typewritten bio/resume for our records and for exhibition purposes.
A portfolio of 13 randomly selected prints plus a catalog or poster of all entries will be mailed to each participant. A *Self Addressed Stamped Envelope (SASE) is required to return exchanged prints and catalog.
The Cascade Print Exchange will usually be exhibited at the Fairbanks Gallery, sponsored by the Department of Art at Oregon State University. The show times and dates will be announced. A reception for the artists will be held in accordance with the gallery show.

Please do not contact us about the status of the portfolio prints as the process of correlating and creating the catalog/poster takes time. We will distribute the prints by late spring.
